In
The Church of England's Book of Common Prayer (1662), a prayer
starts with the line: "O
pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love
thee." In recent
times, however, love of the Holy City, a sacred site to Judaism, Christianity
and Islam, has resulted in neither peace nor prosperity. One can only pray that
this will change in our lifetime.

well as coins, stones, jewelry and shells from Israel. |
