This altar is inspired by the Jewish prayer for the torah: "It is a tree of life to those who hold fast to it, and all its ways are peace." A dove of peace flies out of an outstretched hand. Over the dove is a gold torah charm. The branches are adorned with brass beads and amethyst. Hamsa hands reach from the trees to the Star of David at the peak of the altar. African beads anchor the base of the altar.
